Self-Isolation Protocol in Indonesia

Total global COVID-19 confirmed cases (18/3) were 191,127 cases with 7,807 deaths (CFR 4.1%) in 160 Countries / Regions.

This also affects Indonesia with the latest data. From 30 December 2019 to 18 March 2020 at 12.00 WIB, there were 1,372 people examined from 28 provinces with 1,178 negative examinations, 172 positive COVID-19 confirmed cases and 22 samples were still being examined.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans.  In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). In Indonesia, the government uses applied self-isolation to the handling of Covid-19.
The Self Isolation Protocol focuses on what to do if sick, what to do when isolating yourself, what to do when monitoring yourself as an Insider Monitoring (ODP), how to prevent it, and when to wear a mask.

Applied self-isolation to the handling of Covid-19 is focused on all the people of Indonesia, with the importance that if sick, feel sick, please rest at home, do self-isolation by maintaining eating patterns, resting, exercising at home, and monitoring body temperature, if you feel sick, please immediately carry out checks to the medical team for further checks, prevention will be very meaningful for each individual, always washing hands, keeping the environment clean, covering his mouth when sneezing, coughing and making sure to always carry a hand sanitizer.
